From reading this story we had to design Gregor's room based on how we interpreted it ourselves. I wanted to make the room look dreary and depressing, just as it is described in the book. I made a chair, headboard, box spring, mattress, blanket, pillows, and a nightstand with a lamp on it. Every item that I created followed the theme of dark colors and rugged edges to represent what Gregor's room looked like to me.
